Love the trees! I just started getting into substack. My sister sent me a article to read and now I am on substack more than intsagram. It's really scary if you live in America. I spend less time on Facebook more and more.
I too live in the U.S. (united? Really, maybe we are the D.S. Now (divided states) lol. I will look for an article on Substack, I really don’t use instagram and only use FB when I have too. Thanks for mentioning the article.
Love these ... support my mood at the moment ! Trying to get my cro-jo, sew-jo, knit-jo and quilt-jo back at the mo. So hopefully a Jo-jo will kick start it all xx
Such an interesting post, Jo. Thank you. I hope you continue to post on your website and not rely solely on Substack. It is, after all, just another social media platform that we can’t control.
I really enjoyed reading this post Jo - it's so generous of you to share your process and I was fascinated to read about how you developed this series. I am also a newbie to Substack and am thinking along similar lines to you with reference to Meta and the general "state of the world". I have not as yet been brave enough to publish anything here yet, but ideas are brewing and I'm looking forward to getting my "technical" ducks, as it were, in order sufficiently well to streamline work over various online platforms including instagram, facebook, website, mailchimp, stripe, etc etc (my brain hurts just thinking about it - I'm heading back to my stitching refuge;) best wishes - Claire (@chalcraftdesign elsewhere)
Always inspired by your work, and I have a special affinity for all things lunar. Working on a project moon related and a completely different tree idea so this was especially inspiring. Hope to someday take a class with you. I rarely do “hand” work, but you are drawing me in!
Love seeing you on Substack!
thank you so much Mary!
Loved the trees and moon and colour combinations. Thanks for sharing
oh thank you Amanda! My first comment :D
I love your work. Do you fold over your edges before sewing or leave them to fray?
Thank you Beth! I always fold over the edges, I have a bit of a personal issue with raw edges showing!

thank you Stephanie and that is good to hear! I am pleased I took the plunge here and I feel it is encouraging me to write more posts!

Good point Erica! I will certainly keep on posting to my own blog and not rely on anyone platform too much, lesson learnt already! Thanks :)
This is wonderful! I really want to try it. I recently finished stitching your Aurifil Lab pillow top and need something new.
thank you Brigitte! Why not give it a go? If you managed the Aurifil Lab pillow then this should be easy!
